On Friday April 25th 2008 Gil Thorp's baseball squad opened their season against our own Blue Devils, who turned out to be no match for Coach Thorps' team (rumor has it the home plate ump was a Milford grad).

It's documented though that Thorps' boys from Connecticut did not have the cajones to come to Blue Devil Stadium that fall!

Congratulations to 2005 Chenango Forks graduate Troy Nickerson!
2009 NCAA Division I Wrestling Champion at 125lbs for Cornell University!
Troy was a Four-time All-American during his Cornell career!
