Behind In Updates
I realize and apologize for the fact that I have yet to put up pages for Games 11 and 12 and final overall stats etc. I enjoy my off-season, but WILL get around to it, hopefully in March!
Six Straight Final Fours
The State-Quarterfinal victory against Cazenovia put the Blue Devils in their sixth consecutive state semifinal, which tied the record Dobbs Ferry of Section 1 set that very same weekend
. Dobbs Ferry and CF had been tied at five straight with Caledonia-Mumford of Section 5 (1993-1997), Troy of Section 2 (1996-2000) and Amsterdam of Section 2 (2001-2005). You can see this information at www.secton4football.com and then clicking on "By Team" under State Playoffs History in the Quick Links at the top of the page.
3-0...Lowest Scoring Victory For CF Ever?
One would think a 3-0 win would be the lowest scoring victory CF has ever had in "recent" years (i.e since 1960). Well...nope, it ain't. CF won a 2-0 game at home in 1978...and it gets better...it was against Chenango Valley!
Southern Tier Sports Network - update 11/11
The new sports venture has now broadcast six Blue Devil games this season, including the playoff victory over Cazenovia. All of the games can be heard at www.southerntiersportsnetwork.com in their archives sections. They can also be downloaded to your computer or IPODs.

Pre and Post-game articles
During the season you can read all the pre and post-game articles and stats from completed games by clicking on the associated for each game. Often it includes articles from a newspaper in the hometown of the opponent.

I realize and apologize for the fact that I have yet to put up pages for Games 11 and 12 and final overall stats etc. I enjoy my off-season, but WILL get around to it this month!

HomeTown Sports
HomeTown Sports was not able to have a weekly show this season. However they do have highlights on the website. Jim Rotundo, the man who IS Hometown Sports, is now working full time for WBNG TV 12 in Binghamton and his time there is what is dictating his inability to continue his show. However, it also means he will have MORE highlights on the site this year, as he'll be able to put much of the WBNG footage up on the site. The website is at www.hometownsports.tv.
