Chenango Forks 39, Greene 3: At Greene, the Blue Devils (4-0, 2-0) scored touchdowns on each of their first two offensive plays from scrimmage and cruised to a Division IV victory. After Greene turned the ball over on its first possession, Forks’ signal-caller Jack Sherwood took the ball 48 yards to the endzone on his first snap.

After Greene fumbled the ball away on their next possession, Sherwood hit Cody Lamond for a 45-yard touchdown pass for a 13-0 lead that held up until halftime.

Sherwood would finish 3-for-5 for 79 yards with a second touchdown pass going to Rob Story in the third-quarter in addition to his 48 yards on the ground.

Tim McDonald was the game’s most effective rusher, finishing with seven carries for 69 yards and a pair of second-half touchdowns for Class C’s top ranked team. Lamond added 43 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

Wyatt Johns hit a 32-yard fourth-quarter field goal for the Trojans (0-4, 0-2) lone points.
